Scrapings of “blood” from the statue are taken for examination.
“Human nature today… has to see to believe, which is why there are so many images that weep… to make people come back to Me somehow.” (Jesus to Catalina)
The following is quoted from the book, “Reason to Believe”
“…We could all see the tears began coming down the face. Silvia took a deep breath, and when she continued her voice had shifted. ‘The emotion and the feeling you get to see God crying is indescribable.’ Silvia was the first of fifteen witnesses we interviewed. Some had seen only ‘tears’ form and fall, others had seen ‘blood’ form into drops which ran from the eyes and the forehead down the ravaged checks. In three instances a camera had been set up and left to record the spontaneous formation of blood and tears. No human interference was detected.”
“…It (the statue) was placed on a sliding platform and disappeared into the CAT scanner… The X-Ray verdict confirmed my thoughts. The statue was solid plaster molded around a void of air. If there had been any perforation or hole, ‘even as fine as the diameter of a human hair’, declared the radiologist, it would have been detected. I was strongly inclined to pronounce that what I had witnessed was outside of natural laws and was therefore miraculous.”

A statue weeps and bleeds in the same city that Catalina Rivas writes profound teachings she says are dictated by Christ. Elsewhere, a communion host (bread) changes to living flesh. Are these claims true? What does Science have to say? This is a fascinating journey of Australian lawyer, Ron Tesoriero, in pursuit of answers. On the way he invites a well-known and highly respected journalist Mike Willesee to join him. What they discover will confront the mind and heart of every reader.
The investigation finds the blood from the statue to have all the components. It acts like blood. Looks like blood. In chemical and physical composition it’s human blood. Yet they can’t get the DNA. The microscopic photographs investigates a thorn found in the sample from the forehead and a scab with epidermal tissue, (human tissue) that looked like it ad been pulled off the face of a person that takes with it part of the skin.
Katya Rivas suffers the crucifixion wounds of Christ as two cameras record her ordeal, observed by 12 eye-witnesses and watched by 28 million FOX television viewers.
A scientist, a professor, and a former outspoken atheist discuss the supernatural character of Katya’s messages from God. A statue of Jesus weeps tears and sheds drops of blood.
